I specialize in old-school production techniques. Though I’m up to date with current technologies, my specialty is working with performers. I like recording bands and singers who are accompanied by human beings rather than samples and sequencers. I’m particularly helpful with bands and singers who are new to serious recording.

By the way, I have nothing against samples or sequencers. There are a lot of people around who live in that world, which is what you need to do in order to be successful at it. I don’t live there; I just visit it when playing on those kinds of records.

Pre-Production

In my opinion the key to completing a successful, economical recording is a thorough and adequate pre-production process. Even if you want to produce yourself, or want somebody more famous to do it, I can help you prepare for recording. I’ll make sure you have budgeted correctly and that everyone involved in the project is ready to record before you step into the studio.
